 Initial Consultation


One of our doctors, will take a detailed History of your Hair Fall or Hair Loss. We would like to know your age, duration of hair loss, any previous treatments, your medical history, thyroid status, blood hemoglobin levels, etc on a detailed worksheet. We will examine your scalp under magnification to see the quality of hair and the skin. We may take some blood samples for routine blood test. According to your condition our expert doctors will advice any Medical treatment (tables), Mesotherapy treatments (hair solutions and Derma rollers), PRP treatments (prepared from your own blood) or Hair Transplant)

In case of hair thinning and hair loss, we usually advice combination of Medical Treatment, Mesotherapy and PRP Treatment to get best results.


Medicines Advised


Vitamins - Biotin is a Vitamin B7 which is prescribed 1 tablet per day for 3 - 6 months. Scientific studies have linked biotin deficiency with hair loss in humans. Other vitamins required for good hair growth are Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Iron & Zinc.


Finasteride (Propecia) - Finasteride is advised in male pattern baldness. Women should not use this medication. It is prescribed as tables in dose of 1mgonce a day, for 6 months. It acts by decreasing the amount of DHT harmone (Di Hydro Testosterone). The reduction in DHT has proven to stop the progression of Hair fall or Hair loss in men by many clinical trials. It takes about six months to see the full effect  Finasteride the table should not be taken for more than 6 months continuously.                                                          


Finasteride was approved by FDA to treat enlarged Prostates in men. During the trials on men with Prostates enlargements, it was noted that their hair growth increased, as a side effect. Then the researchers decided to test Finasteride pill as a possibility to treat male pattern baldness. In December 1997, the FDA approved tablet Finasteride 1mg for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in men


Minoxidil - Topical application of Minoxidil in the form of solution or foam is used to treat cases of generalized thinning of hair all over the head. It is also used in cases of partial baldness. It is used in concentration of 2% , 5% or 10%. It can be used in both male and female cases. The hair regrowth starts after 3 months but it must be used indefinitely for continuous result and maintenance of any hair growth improvements. Minoxidil is generally well tolerated but the side effects can be there as itching & redness at the treated area and unwanted hair growth on other parts of body. Sometimes there is contradictory increase in hair loss or alopecia. Now, the better hair solutions are available which are tolerated well and have better results.


Hair Solutions - Topical hair solutions are watery in consistency. They are tolerated well with no side effect, and penetrate deep into the skin for better growth of hair. They have proven results with application for 3 months, once a day, at bed time. The best recommended hair solutions are Creastim by Ducray and Foltene.
