What is Mesotherapy for Hair?
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive micro injection technique. It is used to administer active substances directly into the scalp where they are intended to act for hair growth.
The active substances, present in the watery solutions, reach the dermis of the skin to stimulate hair growth. These substances don't get into systemic circulation so their are no side effects.
Mesotherapy Procedure:
Mesotherapy creates microscopic channels by a Dermapen fine needles rolling over your scalp. There is no pain. It stimulates the dermis(lower layer of skin). After Dermapen rolling we apply special Anti-hair Loss solutions which are watery in consistency. These solutions penetrate easily into the dermis to stimulate your hair follicles. The treatment has no downtime and you can go to your daily routine immediately after the treatment. In Mesotherapy the treatment takes about 20 minutes.
The hair must be washed before the treatment. 2-5 ml of the solution is used to treat the whole scalp, the needle length varies from point 0.5mm to 2mm.
Depending upon your hair thinning the treatment is advised for an average once a week. You need multiple treatments for about 3 months to get the desired result. (varies from case to case)
After Mesotherapy Care
You should not wash the hair for 24 hours after the treatment.
Avoid any activity that causes sweating for next 12 hours
How many Mesotherapy session are need for hair
We advice to do hair mesotherapy once in a week for atleast 12 sessions (3 Months). After initial 3 months it is advice for once a month for 6 months.
How long does the Mesotherapy last
Mostly one needs several mesotherapy sessions to get the desired effect. Your hairs starts to improve after 1 month (4 sessions). The course for 3 months is advised and the result usually lasts for 1 to 2 years (varies from case to case).
How does Mesotherapy work
The principle behind mesotherapy is that it allows the active ingredients which are "water inconsistency" active ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin and reach the area where the normal thicker solutions cannot.
